Community Connections is an initiative of New Prospects Counseling Services dedicated to strengthening our community through meaningful partnerships, shared resources, and collaboration.

Our goal is to connect our clients and the greater community with valuable resources, trusted organizations, and opportunities for support. By building relationships and bridging gaps in access to care and services, we hope to make it easier for individuals and families to find the support they need, when they need it most.

Meet Cherise Beardsley

Director of Business Development

Cherise is leading New Prospects Community Connections Initiative.

A Milwaukee native and world traveler, Cherise has built a career rooted in curiosity, connection, and a passion for making a meaningful impact.

Her educational journey began at Marquette University and Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain, followed by graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.

Her professional path has been anything but conventional. From working as a private special needs educator in California and Chicago to founding an international nonprofit that brought her to remote regions of France, Cherise has continually sought opportunities to learn, grow, and make a difference. Her career eventually led her to international recruitment and partnership development, where she traveled the world building relationships and connecting people across cultures.

Drawing on her diverse experiences and entrepreneurial spirit, Cherise discovered her passion for helping small businesses thrive. She went on to establish her own consulting company, working as a business strategist to help entrepreneurs around the globe launch and grow their businesses.

Today, Cherise brings her passion for connection, collaboration, and community impact to her role as Director of Business Development at New Prospects Counseling Services.

For Cherise, Community Connections is more than a professional initiative. It's an opportunity to bring together the people, organizations, and resources that make a community stronger. She believes that when we invest in relationships, support one another, and work toward a shared purpose, we create meaningful and lasting change.
