Welcome!

I am a blended person-centered and narrative therapist who works with teens and adults navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more. My approach is rooted in the core belief that you are the expert of your own life. As your therapist, I strive to be a supportive presence walking alongside you on your therapeutic journey, encouraging you to honor your unique experiences, identities, and personal autonomy.

I believe that the stories we carry about ourselves, our relationships, and the world shape how we live. Sometimes those stories no longer serve us, or were never ours to begin with. I see therapy as a space where you can begin to question, re-author, and reclaim those stories in ways that reflect your values, your strengths, and your most authentic self. I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome, and where your voice is not only heard, but honored.

I received my graduate education and training from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities — Go Gophers! However, I still hold a deep appreciation for my home state of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee area. During my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family, baking, moving my body, and listening to a mix of comedy and self-help podcasts!

If you think we would be a good fit to work together, please contact me to set up an appointment via rachel@newprospectscounseling.com or (414) 291-9487 ext. 508

 Thank you
